Route 3

Reflective Dialogue

15-minute accuracy-before-response loop

You’re reading this on your own. Nothing here needs a partner, a room, or an account. Take your time. When it feels right, you can do it together live.

Loop of share, mirror, correct, validate, switch, until meaning is accurate enough.

Best for

You keep misunderstanding each other's meaning.

Skip it when

You need immediate safety or crisis support.

What it looks like

The fifteen minutes, step by step

One person speaks, the other listens. You swap as the route guides you.

Whoever’s speaking: Choose one event or feeling. State it in one sentence.

Whoever’s listening: Prepare to mirror, not respond.

You’ll know the step landed when: One issue selected.

01:00-02:30

Whoever’s speaking: Share your view in 90 seconds. Include what happened, what you felt, and what you need.

Whoever’s listening: Listen and write 3 keywords only.

You’ll know the step landed when: Speaker has concise input.

02:30-04:00

Whoever’s speaking: Listen. Correct only the key meaning.

Whoever’s listening: Reflect: 'You felt ____ about ____ and need ____. Did I get it right?'

You’ll know the step landed when: Accuracy check.

04:00-05:30

Whoever’s speaking: Say 'yes' or correct: 'Closer would be ____.'

Whoever’s listening: Re-reflect the corrected version.

You’ll know the step landed when: Corrected mirror completed.

05:30-07:00

Whoever’s speaking: Receive validation.

Whoever’s listening: Validate: 'It makes sense that...' Do not add your view.

You’ll know the step landed when: Validation gate.

07:00-12:30

Whoever’s speaking: Switch roles and repeat the same loop.

Whoever’s listening: Now share while the other mirrors.

You’ll know the step landed when: Second loop complete.

12:30-15:00
